GreenLatinos Illinois is heading to Cicero on November 4th, 2026 for an educational community event. The night will explore the rapid growth of data centers in Illinois, what it means for communities, especially environmental justice communities, and how YOU can support getting data center regulations passed in Illinois.
They’ll break down the environmental and community impacts of data centers, share how GreenLatinos is working to establish stronger safeguards through the POWER Act (SB4016/HB5513), and discuss the recent purchase of Hawthorn Race Track by data center developer Digital Realty.
Free food will be provided 💚
Doors open for the event at 6pm; the presentation will begin at approximately 6:30pm
